Description

We are seeking a dynamic and driven sales professional to promote and sell the companies flooring products to end users and customers within the new build housing and reactive commercial sectors. Covering Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Northants, Essex, Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire postcodes, you will work closely with the Commercial Manager to ensure national specifications are upheld at a regional level. You will be responsible for developing new business with regional builders, building strong relationships with contractors and designers, and driving growth across your territory. Key Responsibilities

  • Visit and build strong relationships with key transactional and specification house build customers
  • Identify and target new prospects within the new build and commercial sectors
  • Log customer interactions and project opportunities using the CRM system (C4C)
  • Submit case studies of recently completed installations to support marketing and sales efforts
  • Provide monthly reports detailing territory activity and sales development
  • Work cross-functionally across departments to ensure seamless project execution
  • Plan weekly customer visits to ensure balanced coverage and efficient use of time
  • Monitor and manage stock levels across regional branches and sites
  • Ensure programmes are registered and communicated to relevant departments
  • Coordinate sample distribution and resolve transport or delivery issues with Customer Services
  • Use the price matrix to maintain ASP consistency across accounts
  • Identify and convert new business opportunities into long-term customer relationships

Key Skills/Experience Required:

  • The ideal candidate will have experience working within the Floorcoverings sector and have a working knowledge of the leading Architects, Interior Designers or Contractors within the geographical area.
  • Applications form other Commercial Interiors products would be welcomed, Ceramic Tiles, Furnishings, Fabrics, Wallcoverings etc.

Ideally you will have the following skills;

Collaborative in approach – a team player, end goal focused, persistent-ability to work towards longer term objectives, strong verbal ability – able to communicate clearly and effectively at all levels, organised, self motivated, numerate and analytical, ability to work autonomously and in team environment
