This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Purchasing Manager looking for a rewarding career and managerial involvement in a successful British consumer goods business.
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Purchasing Manager to lead purchasing operations for our client. You will be responsible for developing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, overseeing inventory and budgets, and driving product development initiatives. You will play a crucial part in ensuring that the company delivers the right products, at the right time, and at the right price.
This is a fast-paced role that requires strong leadership, market awareness, and the ability to work cross-functionally across multiple departments.The Company

The business will create a package to suit the selected candidate depending on skills and experience. It is likely that the basic salary will between £43,000 and £50,000.
The Person
- Experience: Minimum 3 years as a Purchasing Manager, with a proven record of building and leading high-performing teams.
- Skills: Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (or comparable database programs) with strong data analysis capabilities. Familiarity with financial systems like Access Dimensions or NetSuite is advantageous.
- Knowledge: Solid understanding of multi-modal logistics, international trade, and EU import/export regulations. Experience managing Far East and West African supply chains is a strong plus.
- Attributes: Self-driven, commercially astute, flexible, and able to perform under pressure.
- Qualifications: MCIPS accreditation or equivalent is preferred. Native-level fluency in English is essential.
- Location: This is an office-based role and will suit candidates within a commutable distance of Wimbledon.
