Buyer

This leading supplier in tools and machinery are looking for an experienced and commercially focused Buyer to join our team, sourcing products from China and the Far East.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and source suitable new products for the company portfolio
• Managing stock levels, forecasting and purchase orders
• Liaising with overseas suppliers and freight agents
• Managing product sourcing, pricing and supplier negotiations
• Supporting new product launches and product lifecycle management
• Monitoring product quality, compliance and warranty issues

Requirements:

• Previous buying/procurement experience
• Experience working with overseas suppliers, ideally China and the Far East
• Strong negotiation and organisational skills
• Good understanding of supply chain and stock management
• Commercially aware with excellent communication skills
