The Company:
- My client is one of the most recognisable and leading manufacturers of Beds and Bedroom furniture for the retail market.

The Role:
- The Account Manager is a key role within the company.
- Working with regional, national chain retailers and large independent retailers.
- The Account Manager ensures store staff are well trained engaged and incentivised to sell and promote the company products effectively.
- The Account Manager builds a strong partnership with their retailers and works with them to develop strong sales and marketing strategies which will include product merchandising, promotions and advertising planning.
- Area – Scotland, Ireland and NI (Candidates must be based in Scotland)
Key Responsibilities:
- Grow sales on the territory and make sure that the company maintains its competitive advantage in the region.
- Developing good working partnerships with all retailers
- Regularly visits and managing retailers on the territory.
- Arranging and carrying out product training to all retail sales staff.
- Maintain product displays instore to a high standard.
The Candidate:
- Ideally experience of selling a related product to large chain or independent retailers.
- Experience of training retail and showroom staff would be very desirable.
- Highly motivated, focused and adaptable.
- Able to demonstrate a first class retail sales track record.
- Excellent communication skills with excellent time management skills
- A self-starter with the ability to bring new ideas to the department.
- Excellent numeracy, literacy, and ICT skills including Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
- Full clean driving licence
Salary:
