Commercial Account Executive

We’re seeking an experienced Account Executive to join a specialist chartered broker comprising a close-knit team of professionals passionate about evolving risk, technology, and property.

You’ll be part of a supportive sales team that values trust, collaboration, and empowerment - an environment where you can perform at your best and make a real impact.

You’ll inherit an existing book of business and will be tasked with generating new business opportunities whilst retaining and growing existing clients.

What You’ll Do:

• Drive business growth by identifying and developing new opportunities.
• Build strong, long-term client relationships and act as a trusted advisor.
• Deliver tailored insurance solutions for clients with complex or high-value risks.
• Work closely with insurers to secure competitive terms and comprehensive coverage.
• Achieve individual and team sales targets, contributing to the success of the branch.

What You’ll Bring

• Proven experience as an Account Executive within commercial insurance.
• Strong understanding of insurance products, markets, and underwriting processes.
• Demonstrated ability to generate new business and manage client portfolios effectively.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Sound knowledge of FCA compliance and Consumer Duty obligations.

Desirable:

• CII qualification (or willingness to work towards it, with support).
• Experience using Acturis or similar insurance systems.
