Description
A highly successful and progressive insurance broker are looking to add an experienced Commercial Account Handler who is looking to make that step up in their careers to a full blown Account Executive position.
 
Alternatively they are looking for someone who has already made the step, but who find themselves in a firm without any marketing or lead generation support, who would be enjoying more success in a larger more established player.
 
You will be working closely with a Key Account Director in a growing office, focusing on a particular niche, which that broker has an outstanding reputation within.

About the Role:
Our client is looking to recruit an experienced Commercial Account Handler/Junior Account Executive who wants to step up and get involved with new business broking, and inherit a small book of business, on which you can build a book, whilst being mentored by a Senior member of the team..
 
More specific duties will include;
  • To provide a quality service in the administration and servicing of commercial clients.
  • Assisting with new business broking and re-broking exercises.
  • Maintaining existing business and providing technical advice.
  • Acting as a contact for the client to handle all queries / amendments.
 
Key Skills/Experience Required:
In order to be considered for the role of Commercial Account Handler, you must possess the following:
  • Previous account handling experience
  • Commercial Insurance knowledge/experience
  • An eagerness to progress your career over time from Account Handler to Account Executive
  • ACII qualification will be supported, but is not essential
  • Ability to work well as part of a team
 
Salary/Benefits Information:
  • Basic salary from £35,000 up to £42,500 p.a + Bonus
