- Description
- One of the UK’s most innovative, ethical and high – quality Speciality Coffee Roasters, providing their customers with a full circle, world – class service which includes; roasting, training, equipment installation & maintenance and marketing. Their array of products includes both ground coffee or whole beans which are sold into retail, wholesale and domestic channels alike.
The role:
The position of Coffee Technician is field based, customer facing role and covers the London and Southeast region (M25). You will join a team of experienced technical professionals, providing support to the Technical Manager and Lead Technician as well as technical solutions on a scheduled and adhoc basis to customers. You will also be required to work on an ‘on call’ rota for out of hours.
Specific duties will include;
- Carrying out machinery service, repairs and installations as required
- Setting up machinery and dialling in espresso machines using company coffee products
- Ensure the customer is always happy and satisfied with the work carried out and service provided
- Personally manage tools and condensed stock or relevant spare parts etc.
- Maintain a company vehicle
The person:
In order to be considered for the position of Coffee Technician, you must possess the following:
- Previous extensive coffee field service engineering experience with a focus on specialist coffee machines as opposed to vending
- Solid knowledge of the coffee industry
- Able to work flexible hours as agreed with the Technical Manager
- Strong communication skills
- Based in or close to London
- A full UK driving license
