The company are a market leading organisation within the Kitchen Bedroom Bathroom sector, that are looking to strengthen their senior management team with the key recruitment of a Sales Director.

About the role
This role is critical to the sustainable growth and ultimate success of the business within the next decade and key points are;
- Define and implement the national commercial strategy
- Ensure achievement of sales, margin, and growth targets within the key sectors, Independent Retailers, Buying Groups and Commercial
- Lead, develop, and coordinate the sales team (Area Managers)
- Analyse the local market (customers, competitors, trends) to identify growth opportunities
- Develop and strengthen relationships with key clients and strategic partners, across both Contract and Retail channels
- Oversee and support commercial negotiation activities
- Monitor and analyse sales KPIs and overall performance
- Define budget, forecasts, and commercial development plans
- Ensure alignment with Headquarters (HQ)

Required Skills

- Proven experience in sales and commercial management of aesthetic/high-end products
(non-technical products; not purely import-based) - Strong strategic planning capabilities, both individually and at team level

About the individual
The Ideal candidate will have experience managing a sales team of external and internal sales professionals, having trained, developed, and recruited those individuals and has delivered a strategic sales and marketing plan within an organisation.
Ideally you will have experience of selling a product to the Merchants (Travis Perkins, Graftons, CPS), Independent Retailers and the Commercial sector (Specifiers and Designers) within the Kitchen Bedroom and Bathroom sector.
You will Ideally be currently working within the KBB Sector or a related market Ceramic Tiles or DIY.
Remuneration
Basic dependant on experience, Bonus, Great Benefits and Car.
