Job Description: Key Account Manager
- As a Key Account Manager, you will be instrumental in developing business opportunities within defined key accounts.
- You will also work closely with internal team, across departments, to provide an exceptional customer experience, including designing and delivering solutions for key account customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve sales targets in all product segments across your key accounts.
- Work strategically to ensure long term sales performance.
- Build strong professional relationships with the customer at all levels.
- Develop standards within the key accounts in terms of product knowledge, showroom displays, stocking range including development of product experts.
- Implement a detailed key account business plan for each dealer.
- To achieve the sales team KPIs as agreed with the Channel Manager.
- Optimise use of OneCRM.

Candidate Profile: Key Account Manager
We are looking for an exceptional communicator and negotiator with a proven track record of success in selling products through a distribution network at Key Account Manager level.
- At least 5 years of field sales experience, managing and growing key accounts.
- Ideally with relevant industry/product experience working with a dealer network.
- A strategic mind-set, understanding business needs, and identifying new opportunities and developing business plans.
- Ability to align STIHL’s objectives with the customers objectives.
- A sound understanding of on-line selling and other sales channels.
- Strong project management skills.
- Experience of bringing together multiple stakeholders to deliver solutions for customers.
