Job Description:
This is a new position created to exploit sales growth opportunities within garden centres and bbq specialists. You will represent a leading and well established bbq brand – meeting with independent and group garden centres to secure in-store display space and seasonal commitment.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Meeting existing customers to review 2025 sales and secure commitment for 2026
- Identify and secure meetings with relevant garden trade buyers in prospect accounts to explore new sales opportunities
- Work with the Managing Director on range development, exhibition planning and forecasting
- Support customers with in-store display set ups, staff training and product demonstrations.

Key Skills/Experience Required:
- The specialist nature of the garden leisure market means that we are looking for an experienced Sales Representative or Area Sales Manager from the garden leisure sector where you will have sold bbq or garden furniture to relevant garden trade buyers.
Specific skills required will include:
- A home location near to the M5 / M6
- At least 5 years of experience in field sales in the garden leisure market
- Contacts and working relationships with relevant garden centre buyers
- An independent and self motivated character
- A hunter as well as a farmer with determination to grow your sales numbers
Salary/Benefits Information:
- £35,000 - £45,000 plus performance based bonus, company car or car allowance, laptop, mobile and all of the support required to work remotely.
