Area Sales Manager – North East

A leading supplier of soft furnishing products to the retail and contract interiors markets, our client is currently looking to add to their sales team with the recruitment of a dynamic Territory Sales Manager to manage their successful and high performing North East territory.

The role: 

You will be responsible for managing and developing your own base of existing accounts within the independent retail and contract trade, whilst actively seeking to develop new business across your territory. Your area will cover Northumberland, North & East Yorkshire, Durham, Tyne and Wear up to the Scottish Borders.

The person:

We are looking for an experienced Sales Representative who will be passionate about selling in the soft furnishing trade. The ideal candidate will live within the territory of North Yorkshire, East Yorkshire, Durham, Tyne and Wear or Northumberland). and have a strong FMCG territory sales background with experience of selling home furnishing or allied products to either a retail or contract customer base being an advantage.

Salary: up to £35,000 basic (depending on experience), plus 20% bonus, company car, phone and benefits
