The Role:
For this role, we are looking for a hardworking, and passionate national account manager to join a successful sales team to help manage the requirements of existing customers whilst also working to develop new business opportunities that have been identified.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Managing existing portfolio of UK high street and grocery customers
- Alongside sales director, managing individual customer P&L and terms negotiations
- Regular range reviews to provide data driven feedback and range recommendations
- Working cross functionally to ensure that key critical path deadlines are met and range launches successfully executed
- Playing an active role in product development to help customers meet commercial or environmental targets
- Identifying and successfully developing new business opportunities with both new and existing customers
The Person:
A highly motivated and hardworking, service oriented, individual with excellent time management, you will be detail oriented, a proactive problem solver with a challenger mindset.
To be considered for this role you should have:
- Proven national account management experience, having worked with UK grocers & retailers within the non-food consumer goods sector
- Understanding and experience in the FOB/ importing process
- Product launch into UK retail market – ‘cradle to grave’
- P&L understanding and management
- Ideally have had experience working with manufacturers
