The Role:
- This newly created role comes with the expansion of this successful business in the USA market. As Specification Sales Representative, you will be responsible for managing and developing sales of the company’s portfolio of exclusive interiors brands to the interior design and architect community across the Central East Coast of America.
- The role will involve the growth and development of the company’s A&D customer base across the Central East Coast of the USA covering a territory across New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York City, Delaware, Maryland and Virginia, gaining specification for residential and hospitality and leisure projects in the area.
- This is a key appointment for our client and offers long term growth and career development opportunities with their continued growth and success.
The Person:
- The successful candidate will be a self-motivated individual, comfortable with working autonomously in a field based sales role and managing a large regional sales territory.
- The ideal candidate will have experience within sales of interior products such as home furnishings, fabrics, wallcoverings or paint to Interior Designer and Architect customers (A&D). Alternatively, this role could suit an Interior Designer or Architect seeking to carve a career in sales.
- With a keen eye and flair for colour and design you will be able to deal with luxury products, and have an understanding of the positioning of exclusive brands.
- Used to working to sales targets, you will have strong oral and written communication skills and be computer literate.
