Job Description:
- Sales area: Mid Wales, North Wales, Shropshire, Staffordshire, Cheshire, Manchester, Merseyside.
- £40,000 - £43,000 + 1/4ly bonus to £16,000 + hybrid car + pension, healthcare, fuel card + 25 days holiday
Inherit a high value and well established customer base of appointed dealers.
- A home-based role requiring travel throughout your sales area.
- Autonomously manage your time to achieve maximum sales growth
- Visit customers to understand and support their business objectives
- Negotiate and agree annual joint business plans with all dealers
- Implement company sales strategies within your region
- Achieve sales turnover and margin objectives
- Coordinate product training and demonstration teams

Candidate profile: Area Sales Manager
In order to maximise the impact of the new recruit, we are looking for a candidate from the garden machinery market. Ideally you will already be working in sales for a garden machinery or agricultural machinery dealer, distributor or manufacturer and interested in a move to a major brand.
The key qualities we seek are:
- A home location in North Wales, Shropshire, Staffordshire, Cheshire, Manchester or Merseyside.
- An understanding of how to impact sell-through within a garden machinery dealer
- A natural enthusiasm for the outdoors, garden care or outdoor powered equipment
- Advanced communication and negotiation skills
- An intuitive people-person with high emotional intelligence
- Commercially astute, numerate with appreciation for pricing, costs and profitability
- A relationship builder with a passion for customer service
- Computer literate
