It’s your lucky day… Cavendish Maine are privileged to be working exclusively with this leading international producer of frozen potato products into the foodservice industry.
About the Role:
- Do you havefresh ideas and a passion for making an impact in the foodservice industry?
- Do you have a genuine interest in the food industry and a keen understanding of the importance of quality ingredients and culinary innovation?
If so, you will:
- Work as a dynamic and driven Key Account Manager with End User accounts within the Fast Food/Takeaway, QSR and Wholesale channels in the North of the UK (including Scotland initially).
- Be required to build, nurture and maintain strong and effective customer relationships as well as developing new business both within current and new accounts.
- Be given the opportunity to build a credible and long – term career with a market leader at a very exciting time for this business.
- Take accountability for profit and loss for your specific business portfolio.
- Work closely with product management, Marketing and NPD teams delivering compelling customer specific propositions on product development.
- Create efficient working relationships with key contacts within each account across the channel, e.g., Chefs, F&B Managers, Owners etc
Key Skills/Experience Required:
- Extensive industry experience isn’t so important for this role - if you’re passionate about food, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and love bringing fresh ideas to the table, this is your chance to make a real impact. Perhaps you are currently in your first or second foodservice related role and looking to step up your career.
- Knowledge and experience of selling into the Fast Food/Takeaway & QSR channels would be ideal, although other channels will be considered.
- A Forward – thinking and innovative approach with a desire to keep up to date with the newest industry trends and the ability to bring new ideas to customers and Line Manager in order to remain a market leader will be key as will a creative mindset in order to drive new product ideas and customer acquisitions.
- Always looking for new ways to solve problems and offer creative solutions to your clients.
- You will ideally live in or around Manchester/Leeds/Liverpool, Newcastle etc, in order to service the northern territory (which will include Scotland for a short period).
Salary/Benefits Information:
In return for your role as Foodservice Key Account Manager, you will receive a basic salary of up to £50,000 p.a (DOE) possibly negotiable. car, bonus, 24 days holiday, pension etc.
