We are looking for an experienced field sales professional with a background selling into construction end users to manage a well performing territory in the South of England. You will sell directly to end users offering product solutions for surface preparation such as concrete polishing and floor grinding. You will manage a large area (though most customers are situated in the South East) creating your own call cycle either in person of via the phone. You will be provided full product training but a background within construction would be advantageous.
About the Company:
You will be joining a premium equipment manufacturer within the construction sector that offers both machines and consumables. They are looking for someone to join their small close-knit team and manage the South of England, already with £1 million turnover. You will take responsibility for managing existing relationships, upselling where possible. This is a company that prides itself an excellent product offering but also high levels of customer service.
Key Skills/Experience Required:
For this Business Development Manager role you will have experience selling to construction end users, ideally within construction, surface preparation or power tools though that is not essential. You will be personable, driven and skilled in building relationships and thrive in a hands on role. You will have a desire to learn new things. You will have excellent field sales experience and be able to journey plan and manage your territory effectively.
