- About the Company:
- A market leading, specialist Insurance Company are looking to recruit a dynamic and ambitious Commercial Underwriter to join their team.
- The role will focus on two core markets, sport and leisure, and alcohol (think distilleries and breweries).
- If you are ambitious, driven, and want to work for a company who are specialists in what they do, (with a reputation for doing it very well) then this is an opportunity worth exploring.
Responsible For The Following:- Underwriting and placement of risks across the following markets – sports and leisure commercial combined and alcohol commercial combined.
- Ad hoc scheme for commercial insurance.
- Managing SLAs.
- Supporting, growing and nurturing broker relationships.
- Accountable for renewal and new business.
- Accountable for management and maintenance of rating guides.
- Managing the performance of Underwriting Assistant/s.
Experience and Attributes Required:- Commercial combined (property and casualty) experience required, either from an underwriting or broking background.
- An interest to work in a specialist area (sport and leisure or alcohol).
- You must take pride in the quality of your work and the development of your broker relationships.
- Strong communication and IT skills.
Salary/Benefits Information:- Up to £45,000 + Exceptional Bonus + Benefits Package
