We are currently managing a fantastic opportunity to make a tangible, attributable and rewarding difference to a highly successful British exporter.
This is a newly created business development position within an internationally focused manufacturer of top-quality automotive products. Our client proudly manufactures their product range in the UK and sells to export customers via a network of international distributors.
This new position has been created to meet the significant demand for the products in the USA, a new territory for our client.This represents a fantastic opportunity to enter the UK’s largest trade partner with design-led products and a wonderful story. The USA is not only the most important export market for the UK as a whole, it is by some margin largest the territory by sales volume within the vertical market in which our client operates.
Increasing demand for the company’s products from distributors in America has to the decision to create this new position which will focus on proactive business development, identifying, approaching and appointing desired distribution partners across the nation.
The International Sales Manager will be based remotely, anywhere in the UK. Proximity to a good airport with trans-Atlantic links would be beneficial.

Key Skills/Experience Required:
Previous experience in an international sales / export sales role is essential for this position.
Our client is a firm believer in the transferable skill set possessed by international sales professionals so specific industry experience is not required. That said, a background in engineered, technical products of any kind is desired.
The role will require regular travel to the USA of course along with a passion for business development.
Salary/Benefits Information:
A package will be created to attract the preferred candidate. It is expected that a basic salary in the area of £50,000 will be offered plus bonus and benefits.
