Description

Do you like big data? Do you like to improve financial returns? How about real-time applications used by millions of people every day, from every corner of the globe? Do you have a passion for analysing complex business metrics and presenting your findings to the key decision makers in the company? We are currently looking for an experienced Data Analyst to join our client’s BAFTA award-winning studio.

Based in Brighton, the studio is led by industry veterans, together with their talented team of developers they produce games with mass market appeal that everyone can play. They develop Brand leading titles across all formats and have a track record of success in the social game genre.

Main Tasks and Accountabilities:

• Perform a wide range of analysis to improve meaningful insights that improve monetisation, distribution, retention and engagement across our platform
• Continually monitor game performance metrics to advise on monetisation opportunities
• Work with the game production team to give advice on key monetisation and user retention features
• Work with the product team to give advice on user acquisition strategies
• Create forecasts for users and revenue on new projects to enable cost/benefit analysis prior to development
• Research and develop a full industry view of games, features and metrics to synthesise learnings from the social game space, providing trend analysis and dashboards to aid decision-making
• Monitor and optimise our product performance on key dimensions for revenue and retention
• Drive analytics product initiatives and manage our regular reporting
• Meet regularly with Executive team to present your analysis and findings

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Expert skills with Excel, SQL and other statistical/analytical tools
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills, involving data mining and predictive modelling
• Eye for detail and focused on data accuracy
• Experience with metrics-driven decision making
• Passion for writing lightweight and concise product specifications
