Junior Paraplanner
  • Progress further in your Wealth Management career with a highly reputable Chartered organisation.
  • Pathway to step up from providing administration support into becoming a Paraplanner.
  • Offering full exam, qualification, study and membership support.
 
Job Description:
  • Providing ongoing administrative support to the Advisers and technical support to other staff.
  • Compilation of recommendation paperwork, including writing suitability reports.
  • Producing tax calculations (including inheritance tax, capital gains tax, chargeable gains, annual and lifetime allowance).
  • Preparing client valuations and sourcing fund/investment information.
  • Preparation of relevant documents ahead of client meetings.
  • Maintaining client and research records in line with procedures and compliance policies.
  • Submitting new business via online systems where necessary, chasing as necessary and checking work carried out by providers.
  • Undertaking product research, analysis and due diligence checks.
  • Liaising with clients, providers and professional connections by telephone and in writing.
 
About the Company:
  • My client are a highly reputable independent wealth management company who have been providing advice for just shy of 20 years having grown organically via referrals and word of mouth based on the standard of service and advice they provide.
 
Key Skills/Experience Required:
  • Working knowledge of investments, pensions and tax – evidenced by diploma-level qualifications.
  • Good time management – ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise appropriately.
  • Ideally have experience with IO, O&M, Selectapension and various provider platforms.
 
Salary/Benefits Information:
  • £25,000 - £35,000 depending on experience and qualifications.
  • 8% non-contributory pension scheme.
  • Performance bonuses.
