Position – Design Consultant
Location – London
Salary – £45,000 + Bonus OTE to £15,000
My client is an international supplier of luxury interiors, operating in the high-end residential and Marine sectors.
This is an opportunity to work for a recognised leader in luxury interiors, a global business with showrooms around the world.
My client has an exciting sales opportunity for an experienced Design Consultant to join their UK team.
This person will work in partnership with the London showroom and the existing network of interior designers and Architects nationally.
Successful candidates will have a history of showroom sales from custom luxury furniture, furnishings, Art or fabric sectors.
An interior design background would also be beneficial.
Although showroom based this person will spend a lot of time out with clients either at their offices or on site with the customers.
This person will have held a senior sales position previously in a high-end showroom/Studio or gallery environment, experienced in selling to the A+D market.
Responsibilities and Duties:- Provide exceptional sales and service to current clients as well as outreach to new local and overseas designers
- Deliver presentations, estimates, invoices, and timely follow-up.
- Follow-through from the acquisition of sale, design development, production, to delivery and installation.
- Help to plan and coordinate events, marketing, and promotions.
Qualifications and Skills:- Sales experience from within the luxury residential design market.
- Highly organised, a sales-driven constitution with strong computer skills (Salesforce experience preferred).
- Have established contacts and relationships with relevant interior designers and architects.
- Excellent people skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail oriented, a focused planner with high energy.
- Natural desire to be an industry "go to" person.
- Professional image with a high level of business acumen.
