- We are representing a dynamic wealth management firm specialising in comprehensive financial advice for individuals. With aspirations to become the industry leader, we are seeking a highly ambitious and driven individual for the role of Head of Paraplanning to contribute to the firm's ongoing success.
**The Role:**
Reporting directly to the Operations Director, the Head of Paraplanning will play a pivotal role in the leadership team. The successful candidate will lead a team of Paraplanners and Trainee Wealth Managers. In a fast-paced environment, responsibilities will include:
- Writing complex suitability reports, covering areas such as drawdown, tax-free cash, and inheritance tax advice.
- Collaborating closely with the Managing Director for technical meeting preparation and fund analysis.
- Developing and managing efficient systems, processes, and procedures to enhance Practice efficiency continually.
- Managing and coordinating the paraplanning team, assigning tasks to ensure timely completion of all cases.
- Providing technical support and training to new/junior employees, ensuring high accuracy in their work.
- Overseeing new Consumer Duty requirements to ensure proper scheduling and recording of client review meetings.
- Managing client services and practice reporting.
**Who You Are:**
- Minimum of 2 years of paraplanning experience.
- Passionate about a career in wealth management.
- Understanding of Investments, Pensions, and other financial planning products.
- Ideally started CII Diploma in financial planning.
- Committed to delivering outstanding client service.
- Natural leader with the ability to inspire and develop others.
- Experience in managing and developing teams.
- Proficient in IT systems, familiarity with Salesforce, FE analytics, and Voyant is a plus.
- Confident professional with excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Values professionalism, integrity, and ethical conduct.
- Strong drive for professional and personal development.
