  • Following significant international growth, their export division has expanded from serving just a handful of countries to over 60 global markets including customers across Europe, North America, Australia and the Middle East.

 

The Role:

  • Their continued growth has created a new and exciting opportunity for a commercially minded account manager to join the expanding export sales team.
  • This role will focus on managing and developing key international customer and distributor relationships, driving profitable growth across existing accounts while identifying opportunities to expand product categories and enter new markets.
  • You will take full ownership of your accounts, managing commercial performance, forecasting, budgeting and customer relationships while acting as the key link between sales, product development, design, logistics and production teams.

 

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with international customers and distributors.
  • Managing account profitability and delivering against agreed margin targets.
  • Owning account budgets, forecasts and growth plans.
  • Identifying new product opportunities, category expansion initiatives and market gaps.
  • Leading customer meetings, range reviews and commercial presentations.
  • Analysing sales performance and using insights to drive future growth strategies.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of customer programmes.
  • Supporting the continued expansion of export markets and international sales performance.
  • This position would suit an ambitious Junior Export Sales Account Executive ready for their next step, or an established Export Sales Account Manager seeking a broader international remit and greater opportunity for progression.
  • The role can be remote or 2 days a week in our clients London office, if you are located within a commutable distance.

 

The Person:

  • We are looking for a commercially driven account management professional with a passion for building relationships and delivering growth.

 

You Will Bring:

  • Proven international account management experience within consumer products.
  • Experience managing export customers, international distributors or overseas retail accounts.
  • A track record of driving profitable account growth and delivering commercial results.
  • Strong P&L management, forecasting and budget ownership experience.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and critical paths simultaneously.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach and the confidence to operate independently in a fast-moving commercial environment.
