The role:
An exciting National Account Executive role has been created to join the business growing national accounts team. Working closely with the National Account Manager, you will play a key role in supporting and growing sales across allocated national accounts while delivering exceptional customer service.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys building strong customer relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and working collaboratively across departments to deliver outstanding results.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the National Account Manager in maintaining and growing national account sales
- Build strong, professional relationships with customers and buyers
- Present new product ranges and seasonal collections in an organised and engaging manner
- Assist with sales analysis, KPI reporting, and identifying commercial opportunities and risks
- Monitor slow-selling and discontinued products
- Support seasonal reviews, returns analysis, and account replans
- Maintain accurate pricing files, customer records, delivery requirements, and meeting notes
- Coordinate customer requirements with internal departments and ensure smooth order processing through SAP and production systems
- Conduct store visits and provide feedback on competitor activity and market trends
- Support promotional initiatives and seasonal campaigns
- Assist at trade fairs and industry events as required
- Proactively identify and pursue opportunities to develop existing and new business

Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in sales support, account management, customer service, or a similar commercial role
- Strong administrative and organisational skills
- Experience working with retail or national accounts is desirable
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Experience using SAP or similar systems would be advantageous
- Willingness to travel for customer meetings, store visits, and trade fairs when required
Salary: £35,000 - £42,000 (DOE) + bonus
