A respected market leader within the Commercial Interiors sector, who have experienced rapid growth over the last 10 years are looking to strengthen their team with the key recruitment of an additional Key Account Manager to join their successful End User team within the Data Centre and Live Science sector.
The company is renowned for manufacturing high-quality flooring solutions to the commercial sector. The company’s products are widely used within a variety of sectors including, leisure, hospitality, end user, education, health.
About the Role:
Due to planned growth, the company are looking to strengthen their sales force with the key appointment of a Key Account Manager within the Data Centre and Live Science sector.
- You will be responsible for the development of Key Accounts within a variety of sectors.
- You will be required to form a close working relationship with your key customers at all levels, as well as working closely with our existing sales force and customer base to manage the supply chain for ongoing projects.
- Deliver and maintain a clear regional segment strategy for Industry by which we establish the specific initiatives / actions for driving growth in sales and galvanizing the regional/divisional resources in sales entities, business units and central functions.
- Deliver sustainable profitable growth in the targeted segments through mutually agreed account plans, as defined within the Industry Segment strategy. This includes new account acquisition and further development and retention, from the established customer base.
- Support, or after delegation of authority, lead the tender process to negotiate and coordinate agreements/contracts between new clients and the corresponding FFS commercial entity.
- Lead, support, and train dedicated ESD flooring dealers to leverage their people and network resources to enhance the company’s market penetration and expansion.
- Provide regular reports and understanding of the customer / specifier requirements for Industrial solutions and relay to the UK/IKAM Management team and as applicable to other regional / central functions i.e. Cust Svc, logistics, product management…….
- Train, coach and provide sales support to all in-territory sales representatives in regard to Industrial customers by writing and coordinating tenders, organizing and performing customer visits, ensuring local representatives are informed and/or involved as required.
- Direct sales and customer accountability for defined commercial regions/segments.
- Consistently monitor market developments, competitor strategies/benchmarking and sales opportunities and communicate accordingly with the relevant internal stakeholders.

Key Skills/Experience Required:
The ideal candidate will likely be a Regional Sales Manager that is looking to progress into National Accounts or a national account manager that is looking for a new challenge.
Alternatively the company would welcome applications from National/Key Account Managers within the Commercial Interiors sector.
