We are currently recruiting for a leading home accessories and home fragrance company supplying high-quality décor, giftware, Christmas items, and fragranced products to retailers across the UK. As their business continues to grow, they are seeking an experienced and highly organised Territory Manager to oversee their well established Northern territory.
The Role:
Managing a large and established geographical territory generating over £1millon in annual sales, you will be responsible for nurturing and growing relationships with a large number of active customers.
This is a fast-paced, customer-focused, field-based position requiring excellent organisation, strong relationship-building skills, and a proven ability to drive sales growth. Extensive travel throughout the region is essential, including occasional overnight stays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and develop a broad customer base of garden centres and home furnishing stores across the North.
- Maintain a high standard of customer service across all accounts.
- Drive continued territory growth in line with recent strong performance trends.
- Present new products, ranges, and seasonal collections to customers.
- Identify new business opportunities and maximise sell-through across all categories.
- Plan and manage an efficient visit schedule to ensure coverage of a large geographic region.
- Set up, attend, and represent the company at key trade exhibitions.
We’re looking for a candidate who brings:
Essential
- Experience selling into garden centres and home furnishing stores
- Strong field-based sales background with proven territory management
- Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to manage a high-volume customer base
- Confidence in conducting regular travel across a wide region
Desirable
- Experience with home furnishings, Christmas items, or fragranced products
- Previous exposure to lifestyle, giftware, or seasonal product categories
