Job Description: Sales Representative

£35,000 + sales incentives + hybrid car

• In this field sales role you will be tasked with restoring a valuable area to being the company’s top sales territory. Key responsibilities include:
• Calling on garden centres to increase the sell-in and sell-through of company products.
• Inheriting an established call file but planning time to prospect for new business
• Supporting customers with in-store training, merchandising and store set-up
• Adapting your approach through the seasons to maximise impact
• Reporting regular to the National Sales Manager with feedback against targets.
• Positive contribution to team meetings  - sharing best practice.

Key Skills/Experience Required: Sales Representative

In order to maximise the success of this role we are looking for:

• A home location in Yorkshire or the North East of England
• At least 5 years of experience as a Sales Representative
• A proven track record of business development – opening and growing independent retail accounts
• A ‘hunter’ and ‘farmer’ profile who enjoys managing the business relationship of the customers they win
• Particularly interesting would be experience selling to garden centres, building relationships and providing in-store training and merchandising.

Salary/Benefits Information:

• £35,000 + sales incentives + hybrid car + fuel card + 23 days paid holiday plus statutory days + pension scheme + DIS benefits + staff discounts
