- The Company:A highly successful and progressive independent insurance broker is looking to add an Account Handler Team Leader to their existing team. - This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Commercial Account Handler looking to take the next step in their career or for a seasoned insurance professional with leadership experience. No prior management experience is required, but a willingness to learn, lead, and develop others is essential. If you do have management experience, this will be reflected in the salary.
You Will Be Responsible For:- Leading and mentoring a team of Account Handlers
- Acting as a referral point for less experienced colleagues
- Supporting senior management with team development and performance
- Handling a portfolio of commercial clients, ensuring excellent client service
- Assisting with new business broking and re-broking exercises
- Maintaining existing business and providing technical advice
Key Skills & Experience:- Solid commercial insurance experience
- Strong client servicing and relationship management skills
- A natural leader with a proactive and positive approach to teamwork
- Previous leadership experience is welcomed but not required
- Working towards or keen to pursue CII qualifications (supported)
