My client are a firm of Chartered Financial Planners looking for a Senior Paraplanner to join their office-based team.
The Role
Responsibilities include:
- Providing ongoing paraplanning support to the advisers and technical support to other staff
- Compilation of recommendation paperwork, including writing suitability reports
- Producing tax calculations (including Inheritance Tax, Capital Gains Tax, Chargeable Gains, Annual & Lifetime Allowances)
- Undertaking preapproval file reviews for more complex cases
- Preparing complex client valuations and sourcing fund/investment information
- Preparation of relevant documents ahead of client meetings
- Maintaining client and research records in line with procedures and compliance policies
- Submitting new business via online systems where necessary, chasing as necessary and checking work carried out by providers
- Undertaking product research, analysis and due diligence checks
- Liaising with clients, providers and professional connections by telephone and in writing
This is an office based role working 8.45am to 5pm Monday to Thursday and 8.45am to 12.45pm on Friday.
The Candidate
You will have prior experience as a Paraplanner and hold the level 4 Diploma (or be working towards). You will also be familiar with relevant back office systems such as Intelligent Office.
