Area Sales Manager – Ireland

Our client is a well-established arts and crafts company. They supply the retail trade with a fantastic range of creative and innovative, arts, crafts, stationery, gifts, and accessories for both children and adults alike.

The Role

The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for managing and developing sales strategies across a territory covering Southern Ireland (excluding Dublin). Responsible for sales to independent retail customers that range from gift, greetings, stationery, toy, garden centres and tourist attractions, this position will manage a well-established and high performing range of existing customers whilst actively developing new business opportunities.

The Person

Candidates from other product categories or those seeking their first role in field sales with the following key skills will also be considered:

• A proven track record in sales and achieving targets.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• The ability to work independently and remotely.
• Knowledge of the local market and customers is helpful but not necessary.
