- The Company:
- One of the UK’s most innovative, ethical and high quality Speciality Coffee Roasters, providing their customers with a full circle, world class service which includes roasting, training, equipment installation and maintenance and marketing.
- Their array of products includes both ground coffee or whole beans which are sold into retail, wholesale and domestic channels alike.
The Role:- Based out of the Avonmouth warehouse and working as a Logistics Co-ordinator, you will be required to supervise goods inwards and outwards, checking all goods received for damages and daily van deliveries.
- This is a fast paced and manually physical role and duties will include stacking goods in allocated locations for storage and picking whilst ensuring stock rotation of date – sensitive consumables using the ‘First In First Out (FIFO) system.
- You will also be required to be out on the road, driving between the Avonmouth and Centra Bristol sites and carrying out local van deliveries to customer in and around the Bristol area.
The Person:
In order to be considered for the position of Logistics Co-ordinator, you must possess the following:- Previous warehouse/logistics related admin experience.
- A forklift license would be desirable but training will be provided if not.
- The ability to stay calm in a busy environment.
- A logical and methodical approach to problem solving.
- Effective and professional communication skills.
- Able to follow processes and procedures and work to strict deadlines.
- Strong PC literacy with the ability to use various logistics systems.
- Based in Bristol.
- A full, clean UK driving license.
