The Role:- A newly created role, due to expansion and growth, this role offers excellent career development opportunity within a dynamic business.
- Working within the company’s 3PL warehouse hand in hand with the 3PL Manager and warehouse team.
Key Responsibilities Will Include:- Managing and prioritising customer orders with the warehouse, ensuring customer delivery deadline dates are achieved.
- Monitoring and supporting the warehouse in dispatching orders in line with set KPIs, per customer account grouping/classification.
- Being the sole point of contact and linchpin between the office and the UK warehouse.
- Reporting order exceptions to senior management and sales team in weekly business trade meetings, which this role will own.
- Owning supplier manuals, creating one page summaries per customer for warehouse on key areas, e.g. pallet heights, label requirements, carton requirements etc.
- Taking responsibility for orders to be delivered in UK and ROW, while identifying and resolving issues.
- Handling all queries post order delivery, including availability/short ships and any other issues that arise.
- Supporting the warehouse to arrange export bookings, providing detail required to book shipments in line with customer requirements.
- Managing the day to day relationship with outbound haulers and seeking cost and efficiency improvements.
- Continuously reviewing operations performance, developing processes and improving cost and service efficiencies.
- Working with inbound freight and order management team to ensure a smooth transactions for warehouse.
- Liaising with warehouse to ensure all consumables including labels are on time, in full for all orders.
- Reviewing inbound shipments plan with inbound coordinator.
The Person:
We are looking for a solution driven and proactive problem solving team player, able to control day to day challenges while developing best practice.With excellent communication, time management and organisational skills, the ideal candidate will have:
- Strong experience in global fulfilment as Warehouse Manager of customer orders.
- Experience of managing internal communications, working cross functionally to deliver results.
- Experience of working on continuous improvements.
- A keen interest in sales and operations and be commercially focused.
- A focus on accuracy of information.
- Strong IT/systems use, with great Excel skills.
- High energy and motivated by KPIs.
Salary:- £40,000 - £50,000 (DOE)
