- Description
- A rapidly growing business that is firmly entrenched in the housewares industry, they offer prospective employees an exciting career path.
Role:- You will work closely with the Head of Product Management and the Category Director to achieve category and business objectives – driving the roadmap for the area.
Main Responsibilities:- Manage NPD launches for your category.
- Update and communicate all launch info via product plan to sales and marketing teams, as well as the wider business.
- Work closely with marketing to create launch plans specific to your category – trade, consumer and e-commerce.
- Support the Commercial Director on all costing, pricing and margins.
- Competitor analysis and gap analysis relating to product portfolio.
- Assist with product presentations both internally and to trade customers.
- Ensure all existing content is on-brand, up to date and work with marketing to update where necessary.
- Assist with creation of NPD roadmap, influence product strategy for the category, working with buying teams, in line with company vision.
- Assist with bespoke customer projects, including marketing plans.
- Manage licensed collections, identify new licensor opportunities / collabs / brand partnerships / influencers.
- Assist with range reviews.
- Attend customer meetings, events, training days, exhibitions, press launches.
- Implement and manage brand plans, with marketing – brand personality, identity, etc.
- Ensure brand guidelines and identity are adhered to across all products within your category.
- Trade Shows – work as part of the team to deliver successful shows.
- Merchandising units – work with marketing/buying to create category relevant POS.
The Person:- You will be an experienced Product Manager currently working within housewares or another non-food FMCG category.

Salary:- £30,000 - £40,000 dependent on experience + excellent benefits package.
Location:- Midlands – hybrid working. 3 days in the office per week
