- A highly successful and progressive provider of risk and claims management services has an opportunity for a Claims Handler to join their team in the West Midlands.
About the Role:- Working as a Claims Adjuster, you will investigate insurance claims to determine the extent of liability.
- Effectively manage a caseload of claim files, prioritizing new and existing work appropriately.
- Diarise claims file in accordance with the company procedures and actively manage the diary daily.
- Investigate and resolve claims in a professional and pro-active manner to provide an excellent claims handling service with minimal leakage.
- Ensure that all claim reserves and payments are calculated correctly and in accordance with company procedure and service standards.
- Identify subrogation, contribution and other recovery issues and ensure that all recoveries are pursued where applicable.
- Manage disputed claims and other material claims issues to resolve as quickly and economically as possible.
Key Skills/Experience Required:
In order to be considered for the position of Motor Claims Adjuster you must possess the following:- Previous experience of working within a motor claims environment
- Credit Hire and Third Party Liability Dispute experience would be beneficial
- A thorough understanding of the litigation process
- The ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Articulate and good attention to detail
- Strong PC literacy to include Word and Outlook.
- Cert CII qualification would be preferred.
Salary:- Up to £29,000 plus Benefits
