- A unique opportunity to join a dynamic market leading manufacturer of innovative, high - end coffee equipment.
About the Role:- Due to rapid business expansion and success, a Coffee Field Service Technician is required to cover the London region and provide a full installation, service and maintenance offering to some very prestigious, high-end commercial clients.
- These products are technologically advanced, therefore requiring someone with a genuine, keen interest in software/technology from a technical perspective as well as a passion for coffee and/or refreshments.
Duties will include:- Fault finding, diagnosing and carrying out equipment repairs on coffee machines, grinders, brewers and espresso machines.
- Installing and setting up new equipment for customers.
- Performing routine maintenance on coffee equipment including descaling, cleaning and parts replacement.
- Carrying out site surveys and equipment installations.
- Exchanging filters when required.
- Keeping management updated with any problems or issues.
- Completing all necessary on-line job sheets, timesheets and supporting documents.
- Keeping vehicle sock and tools organised and replenished.
- Attending training and industry events to stay updated with coffee technology and trends.
Key Skills/Experience Required:
In order to be considered for the role of Coffee Field Service Technician, you must possess the following:
- A keen interest in technology and coffee.
- Coffee experience would be beneficial including an understanding of coffee quality.
- Mechanical or electrical knowledge/qualification is essential.
- Engineering experience gained from a field based role.
- Prepared to travel around London to visit customers.
- Willing to travel to Europe occasionally for training or company events.
- The ability to plan effectively and complete installations professionally and in a timely manner.
- A ‘team player’ who works with and supports colleagues.
- A professional approach with first – class communication skills.
- Previous experience of working within a field-based position.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- A full clean UK driving license.
Salary/Benefits Information:- A salary of up to £42,000 p.a (DOE).
- 7am – 5pm (including paid travelling time to job).
