Senior Underwriting Technician – Commercial Lines
They seek a dynamic and motivated individual that seeks a challenge and is looking for career progression.
You will act as one of the most senior referral points within the Regional Underwriting team, dealing with complex referrals across a variety of commercial products for both new and existing business.
You will monitor and report on technical activity and capability of the Underwriting teams and will work with the Team Leader collaboratively to build on this capability through effective training and coaching.
You will have extensive previous commercial underwriting experience and you will be familiar with handling more complex cases and referrals whilst supporting more junior team members with their development.
As well as a strong technical background, you will also be able to demonstrate stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to challenge and influence where necessary.
- Salary up to £50,000 depending on experience.
- Up to 17.5% Bonus
- Contributory pension scheme (up to 12% employer contribution)
- 25 days annual leave (opportunity to purchase more)
- Hybrid working – 1-2 days/week in the office.
