Senior Claims Handler – Commercial Property
About the Company:
One of the UK’s leading insurance companies has a requirement for an experienced Claims Handler to join their Large Corporate Insurance team based in Stratford upon Avon.

About the Role:
As an experienced Claims Handler within their Large Corporate Insurance team, you’ll manage a caseload of high value / complex Property Claims from inception through to settlement.
You’ll compile, process and record information relating to potential new claims, liaising with clients, brokers, loss adjusters, and third parties to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, regulatory requirements and SLAs.
You’ll investigate, assess and evaluate claims within your limit of authority to prevent loss and fraud and you’ll appoint suppliers and experts as required, updating relevant parties and meeting customer service standards.
You’ll be responsible for decisions regarding policy cover, liability and quantum in line with policies, procedures, regulatory requirements and SLAs to ensure a fair outcome for clients.
You’ll build and maintain relationships with underwriting, brokers, and third parties to ensure the effective delivery of objectives and first-class customer service.
Identify and escalate complaints and breaches in accordance with policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
Key Skills/Experience Required:
To be considered for the Senior Claims Handler opportunity, you will have the following experience:
Extensive claims handling experience including Commercial Property claims
The ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
Previous experience coaching and mentoring junior colleagues
Articulate and good attention to detail
Strong PC literacy to include Word and Outlook.
Cert CII qualification would be beneficial.
Salary/Benefits Information:
Salary up to £40,000 depending on experience.
Up to 10% Bonus
