Sales Representative (North)

A dynamic sales and marketing business offering Uk garden centres a fun, functional and well-priced range of garden and leisure products. Although well established, this role has been created to drive sales growth and we seek an ambitious, results motivated and skilled sales person who will enjoy the recognition and rewards that accompany sales achievement.  

 

Sales Representative – North of England

 

Sales area: Cheshire, Manchester, Merseyside, South Yorkshire, West Yorkshire, North Yorkshire, Lancashire, Cumbria, Tyne & Wear, Co Durham.

 

Working from home, you will be responsible for driving sales through garden centres and similar retailers in the North of England. This is an area with a small, established customer base and enormous opportunity for growth. It requires a new business pioneer to realise its full potential.

 

Key responsibilities will include:

 

  • Identify and approach all potential retail and wholesale accounts in your sales region
  • Devise a journey plan that maximises customer contact time
  • Develop profitable long-term relationships with all potential accounts
  • Develop an intimate knowledge of all products
  • Negotiate within agreed parameters
  • Demonstrate skills in listening, sales presentation and closing in order to secure sales growth
  • Apply appropriate forecasting and promotional planning procedures within the region
  • Attend trade shows or other showcase events

 

Sales Representative – North of England

 

We seek a talented Sales Representative with at least 5 years of field sales experience and a successful track record of both customer account management and new business wins.  

Specific qualities will include:

 

  • A home location in Cheshire, Manchester, Merseyside, South Yorkshire, West Yorkshire, North Yorkshire, Lancashire, Cumbria, Tyne & Wear, Co Durham.
  • Drive and determination to hit targets
  • Motivated by achievement and financial reward
  • A persuasive communicator able to influence both internally and externally
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative
