We have a rare and exciting opportunity for a NATIONAL ACCOUNT MANAGER to join our friendly and successful team.

 

If you enjoy working with a mix of retailers and channels, then this role is for you. Taking full responsibility for a portfolio of customers within grocery, department stores, high street and internet retailers.

 

You will be joining us at a pivotal moment as we transition fully into our new Sales & Marketing structure.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Develop and implement account-specific business plans for each product category and sector.

  • Present products and annual marketing programmes to buyers.

  • Negotiate and manage joint customer promotional opportunities.

  • Organise buyer preview presentations and trade show appointments.

  • Attend annual trade fairs, presenting new ranges and promotional campaigns.

  • Manage all account administration, liaising with internal colleagues.

  • Monitor progress with the National Account Controller on a regular basis.

  • Develop a deep and detailed understanding and knowledge of the company’s products, market and individual sectors.

 

If you are an experienced Key/National Account Manager, based within 90 minutes of Abingdon (hybrid working), able to demonstrate success in the toy, nursery, or other non-food FMCG branded environment, with an excellent understanding of business-building and account development then we would like to hear from you!

  • Commercially astute negotiator with a keen eye for detail

  • Advanced communication skills in all mediums

  • Skilled presenter and public speaker

  • High energy with a passion for great product
