We are looking for a Merchandiser/Retail Specialist to support the regional sales team.
This role is field based with extensive travel throughout the South of England.
A home location in Hampshire, Berkshire or Surrey is preferred.
Your Role Will Include:
Visiting dealers to construct, update and position STIHL displays
Improving merchandising to be more visually appealing to customers
Assisting with training dealers in the demonstration and effective sale of products
Identifying new sales opportunities
Building strong relationships with dealers
Living close to Hampshire / Berkshire / Surrey, you will be active and energetic with enthusiasm for practical roles and outdoor activities, happy to work on your own as well as part of a team.
You will have a full driving license and will be willing to travel extensively with frequent nights away.
You will be dynamic and have previous experience of working in a retail, events or marketing environment where you have gained practical knowledge of shop layouts, product promotions, setting up displays and presenting to retailers/customers.
You will have confidence to generate ideas and concepts to the team as well as influence your customers.
You will have a passion for customer service and strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to problem solve.
Based close to Hampshire, Berkshire or Surrey and able to travel extensively
Happy to work on your own and as part of a team
Previous experience of working in retail, events or marketing
Experience of retail management in grocery, garden or DIY is preferred
Knowledge of shop layouts, product promotions and setting up displays
The self-confidence to generate ideas and concepts as well as influencing customers
A passion for customer service and a proven ability to problem solve
Full driving licence.
