IBA / Insurance Accounts Reconciliation Manager

A highly successful and progressive insurance broker are looking to add an experienced Accounts Reconciliation Manager to their existing team.

 

The Role:

Reporting directly to the Operations Manager and in turn Managing Director you will be responsible for the following duties:

 

Issuing Aged Debt Reports to staff via the OGI Client Data system

Experience of Open GI useful, although not essential, as full training will be provided

Liaising with Staff in terms of the pursuit of outstanding premium

Cross checking payments received with insurer monthly statements and pursuit of those statements

Similarly accessing the premium finance platform to watch and allocate loans received as client payments

Running OGI based report identifying paid items which are then due for settlement to insurers  

Completion of IBA Payment run on a regular basis each month

Assisting with all IBA credit control runs

Proactive settlement of insurer statements from the Client/IBA bank account

Communicating when needed with clients and underwriters in a professional manner

Assisting other team members during busy periods

General office duties such as answering the telephone, scanning & filing

 

Required Experience:

Experience in an insurance accounts role essential.

Intermediate MS Excel skills.

Able to meet critical deadlines

Team working ethos

Strong communication skills

Analytical

Adaptable

 

Salary/Benefits Information:

Basic salary up to £30,000 p.a. + Bonus
