Business Support Executive

A leading sustainable and ethical investment and development organisation in central Bristol has a requirement for a Business Support Executive to provide administrative and compliance support to their senior management team.


Role description

The Business Support Executive will provide the management team and non-executive Directors with administrative support to ensure effective governance, organisational efficiency, and compliance with regulatory requirements.


Responsibilities will include:

  • Arranging Board meetings as necessary and compiling accurate and timely minutes and tracking actions resulting from meetings.
  • Manage the administration of recruitment and HR and provide administrative support to the Financial Director
  • Managing the day-to-day elements of regulatory compliance within the group, to include

maintaining the risk register, ensuring that Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) and GDPR policies and procedures are in place and adhered to, and coordinating and maintaining the Annual Governance schedule.

  • Maintaining and developing company policies and procedures
  • Supporting the core investor, communications, and investment activities of the business:


Skills and experience required

The Business Support Executive role requires excellent planning, organisational and interpersonal skills to effectively deal with a variety of relationships from Board members, internal teams to external service providers.


Extensive administration experience is essential, while experience of working in financial services would be beneficial.


Previous compliance and governance experience is preferable combined with an understanding of the principles of Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) and GDPR


Knowledge of current FCA and PRA regulations and responsible corporate governance would be beneficial.


Salary/Benefits Information:


  • Salary up to £35,000 depending on experience.
