Business Development Manager

Cavendish Maine are working with a National Catering Equipment business to find them a new Business Development Manager / Key Accounts Manager. A distributor of key foodservice products they work with all the major manufacturers with a large portfolio of both light and heavy equipment selling to a range of customers in the Foodservice Sector. As well as the sale of equipment my client also offers a full turnkey kitchen design and install service.

This role comes due to a period of sustained growth and a need for more ‘feet on the ground’. The territory this person will manage is Northern England and Scotland. Sales will be achieved through a mixture of farming existing business (some of these are national and prestigious accounts) plus an emphasis on growing through new business sales. 
 
This role would suit a candidate already working in the foodservice sector, ideally with a track record of sales for a distributor of catering equipment or supplies. This may also suit someone from a commercial kitchen sales background who has held a project sales role or kitchen design sales position.

Candidates will be happy managing a large territory and able to stay away from home when required. They will be commercial, outgoing and energetic able to sell a varied product portfolio. The product range offered includes tableware, refrigeration, prime cooking and Combi Ovens as well as disposable products. 

Salary: Our client is offering a generous financial package that includes a basic salary of c£40,000 plus a bonus scheme that will generate OTE £10,000-£15,000
