The Company:
  • A successful and fast-growing pet food importer, supplier and UK distributor of some of the world’s best known pet food brands.
  • A leading importer and distributor of premium pet food products to the independent and specialist pet trade.
The Role:            
  • Reporting to the Campaign Manager, the Marketing Assistant / Executive will play a key roles in the delivery of the company’s marketing strategy.
  • Due to success and growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced Marketing Executive to join the Head Office based Marketing team in Reigate, to help support and deliver the company’s marketing strategy. 
  • This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within an FMCG sales and marketing environment.
Your Duties Will Be Varied and Will Include:
  • Social media monitoring and uploading to Hootsuite
  • Mailing list updates and scheduling emails
  • Compiling portfolio / published and live campaigns
  • General administration and assistance
  • Events
  • Enhance and maintain systems for filing marketing data
  • Stock control re-printed of POS / promotional materials (including digital assets)
  • Marketing inventory
  • Marketing inbox
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious marketing professional to develop their skills within the UK distributor of an international manufacturing business in which your responsibilities and knowledge will increase continuously.
The Person:
In order to be considered for the position of Marketing Executive, you must possess the following:
  • Either marketing experience or able to demonstrate a keen interest in marketing
  • 2 years of administrative or marketing experience
  • Intermediate or Advanced MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Understanding of Hootsuite (or similar scheduling platforms), Mailchimp and Google Analytics would be an advantage, but not essential
  • Good organisational skills
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal (both internal and external customers)
  • Can work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Confident and commercially aware
The Benefits:
  • The job holder will enjoy a salary of up to £28,000 p.a (DOE), 22 days holiday + bank holidays and annual profit share award.
