The Role of Sales Representative:
The company has an exciting new opportunity for a motivated and tenacious Sales Representative to grow their sales in the South of the UK. Customers will include pet shops, garden centres, hardware stores, country stores, agricultural merchants and pet trade wholesalers,
Key responsibilities will include:
  • Supporting the Sales Director by covering the Southern sales area
  • Develop a planned journey cycle of visits to customers
  • Implement sales strategies as agreed with the Sales Director
  • Focus on new business in the pet and equine trade
  • Identify and prospect new revenue channels
  • Review and report personal sales performance
  • Regular internal communication and liaison
  • Attend trade / retail exhibitions
The Reward:
A basic salary between £25,000 and £30,000 plus a sales bonus, car allowance, mobile and pension

Candidate profile for this Sales Representative opportunity:
Ideally located in Oxfordshire, Wiltshire, Hampshire, Berkshire, Surrey or Bedfordshire, we are looking for an experienced Sales Representative with relevant customer contacts in the pet, equine or hardware market.
Comprehensive product training will be provided but a proven ability to sell to independent retailers or branches of retail groups is important. We are also looking for:
  • A disciplined self-starter, results driven and committed to achieving career progression
  • Energetic with excellent personal presentation and communication skills.
  • The ability to build trusting relationships with retail customers
  • Professional, committed and keen to embrace new challenges
