Job Description:
The role of Head of Sales reports to Director of Loans to drive new business growth and deliver secured business loans of £50K - £250K. You will be required to generate new proposals via self-generated leads.
Further responsibilities include:

  • Attend prospective client meetings in order to understand the business structure and forge professional relationships.
  • Prepare new business proposals, including the collation of financial information for presentation to credit/underwriting.
  • Manage prospective new clients effectively whilst partnering internal teams.
  • Assist senior management team in maximising cross sales opportunities across the plc group.
  • Organise and attend sales promotion events as well as local introducer meetings.
  • Attend local networking events, developing the brand in specific marketplaces.
  • Manage and update the CRM system, producing regular sales and marketing reports.

About the Company:
A growing UK plc specialising in providing specific and competitive lending products to UK SMEs.
Key Skills/Experience Required:

  • 3 years+ experience in a financial services B2B sales role and can offer experience of either own book lending or invoice finance and have existing introducer relationships.
  • Demonstrate good commercial awareness and an entrepreneurial approach to generating new business.
  • Strong confident personality who can work equally well alone and as part of a business development team.
  • Ability to deal effectively with daily/weekly/monthly challenges and goals.
  • Attention to detail, accurate, thorough and consistent.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
