They distribute to an impressive network of worldwide online retailers as well as the large well known retail outlets with a global reach covering the UK, Europe, Middle East, Australia and America.
 
About the Role:
This is a niche, hybrid role working within the Production Team with a variety of responsibilities which will cover administration, marketing, logistics an administration.
 
Duties will be varied and include;
  • To support the Production Manager in ensuring that the day-to-day operations across the group run smoothly and run to maximum productivity.
  • Translating news stories, emails and documents required to further business with non-English speaking Japanese developers and publishers.
  • You will liaise with Japanese developers so you must have good command of Japanese and be able to write emails in Japanese professionally.
  • Working with the Production Manager to manage submissions to the console platform holders, Sony, Nintendo, Microsoft, Steam etc.
  • You will be responsible for communicating with others who are directly involved in the project either internally or externally.
 
Key Skills/Experience Required:
In order to be considered for the role of Japanese Production Coordinator you must possess the following;
 
Personal specification:
  • Excellent written and oral Japanese skills. Ideally Japanese will be your first language.
  • Highly organised.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and self-motivated.
  • Strong personal standards and work ethic.
  • Excellent communication skills – written and verbal.
  • Customer service focused – internal teams and external clients.
  • Strong MS office skills (especially Excel).
  • The ability to remain calm when under pressure.
  • Able to multitask and react to change.
  • Able to meet deadlines working on multiple projects.
 
Salary/Benefits Information:
In return for your role as Production Coordinator you will receive a basic salary of up to £21,000 p.a (depending on experience) as well as other competitive benefits.
